Privacy Policy

Who we are

WedgeBrief is a sole proprietorship operating in California, USA. We sell AI-generated competitor analysis briefs to founders. You can reach us at hello@wedgebrief.com.

What we collect

  • Email address. When you request a free teaser or buy a brief.
  • Customer info from Stripe. Stripe processes payments and shares with us your name, email, billing address, and a payment status. We do not see or store your full card number — that lives with Stripe.
  • Brief inputs you send us. Your product URL and the competitor URLs you want analyzed. We store these to deliver the brief.
  • Standard server logs. Anonymized request logs (IP, user agent, page visited) collected by Cloudflare for site reliability and abuse prevention.

What we don't collect

  • · No tracking pixels, no third-party analytics, no advertising trackers.
  • · No cookies beyond what Cloudflare requires for security and Stripe sets at checkout.
  • · No newsletter list or marketing automation.

How we use it

  • · To deliver the brief you ordered.
  • · To respond to support questions and process refunds.
  • · To meet our tax and accounting obligations as a US business.

We don't sell your data. We don't share it with third parties beyond the processors required to operate the service (Stripe for payments, Cloudflare for hosting, Google Workspace for email).

How long we keep it

Customer records and delivered briefs: 7 years (US tax retention). Email correspondence: 2 years. Free-teaser request data: 90 days. Server logs: 14 days, per Cloudflare defaults.

Your rights

If you're in California, the EU, the UK, or any jurisdiction with comparable rights laws, you can request a copy of what we have on you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it (subject to our tax-record retention obligations). Email hello@wedgebrief.com with the subject line "Privacy request" and we'll respond within 30 days.

Use of AI

Briefs are produced with AI assistance. We do not feed your customer-private data (e.g., revenue, internal docs) into third-party AI systems. The brief inputs you send us — your public product URL and competitor URLs — are used to direct AI analysis on publicly available information about those products. The AI does not retain your inputs as training data.

Changes

We'll update the "Last updated" date at the top of this page when we change this policy. Material changes (i.e., changes that affect what we collect or how we use it) will be communicated by email to active customers.
