WedgeBrief

Terms of Service

Last updated: 2026-05-06

Plain summary

You pay us. We send you a competitor analysis brief within 24 hours. If you don't like it, we refund you within 7 days. We make no guarantees about market outcomes — the brief is research, not a forecast. The full version follows.

1. Who we are

WedgeBrief is operated as a sole proprietorship in California, USA. References to "we," "us," and "WedgeBrief" mean this business. References to "you" mean the individual or entity purchasing or using the service.

2. The service

We produce written competitor analysis briefs based on publicly available information about three competitors of your choosing. Briefs are delivered as PDF by email. The Single Brief is a one-time deliverable. The Quarterly Subscription includes four briefs over a 12-month term, paid annually in advance.

3. Delivery timeline

We aim to deliver each brief within 24 hours of receiving complete inputs (your product URL and three competitor URLs). If we cannot meet that timeline, we'll notify you and offer either a delivery time extension or a refund.

4. Refund policy

We offer a full refund on any single brief within 7 days of delivery, no questions asked. Subscription customers may cancel at any time and receive a pro-rated refund for undelivered briefs. To request a refund, email hello@wedgebrief.com from the address used to purchase. Refunds process within 5–10 business days.

5. What the brief is — and isn't

The brief is a research document analyzing publicly available information. It is not investment advice, legal advice, or a guarantee of business outcomes. You are solely responsible for any decisions you make using the brief. Markets shift. Competitors change. The brief reflects what was visible at the time of analysis.

6. Use of AI

Briefs are produced with substantial assistance from AI systems. We disclose this clearly in our marketing — the brief is described accurately as "AI-generated" on the landing page and in marketing materials. We review for material accuracy before delivery, but AI-generated content can contain errors. If you find a factual error in your brief, email us and we'll correct and re-deliver promptly.

7. Intellectual property

You receive a perpetual, non-exclusive license to use your delivered brief inside your business. You may share excerpts internally and with investors. You may not republish the brief publicly, resell it, or redistribute it as a standalone document. We retain copyright in the underlying brief structure and template.

8. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, our total liability for any claim arising from your use of the service is limited to the amount you paid for the brief or subscription giving rise to the claim. We are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages.

9. Acceptable use

Don't ask us to analyze competitors that would put us in the position of producing defamatory content, supporting harassment, or processing protected information you don't have rights to. We reserve the right to refuse any specific request and refund your payment.

10. Governing law

These terms are governed by California law. Disputes will be resolved in the state or federal courts of California. Each party waives any objection to jurisdiction and venue there.

11. Changes

We may update these terms; the "Last updated" date at the top reflects the current version. Material changes will be communicated by email to active customers. Continued use after a change constitutes acceptance.

12. Contact

Questions or concerns: hello@wedgebrief.com. We respond within 2 business days.
